Available Positions

We are expanding in the following areas:

Control systems

• for proton therapy medical accelerators  
• for nuclear accelerators and large telescope arrays

GIS

Hardware

• development of embedded systems
•  
• micro controllers

We look for physicists, computer scientists, electro engineers, mathematicians and people with similar background in technical or natural sciences for one or more of the following assignments:

• Developer of core software: OOP, design patterns
• High level application developer: GUI, SQL
• Control system designer and integrator: automation, device integration

Table of desired skills - if you find that you have at least one of those skills, you are  the right candidate for us:

• Experience in OO programming (C++ or Java), SQL, Oracle, php, HTML, ...
• Application design and development experience,
• Java language experience, especially GUI: Swing and SWT,
• Experience with development for embedded applications,
• Experience with programming for Linux operating system (drivers, system administration),
• Ability to describe complicated technical processes in a simple way,
• Willingness to study the functioning of complex devices and their integration into a unified control system,
• Scientific background, experience  in working with scientists,
• Project management skills.

In addition, ideal candidates will also posses the following:

• Ability to get things done (finisher),
• Sense of responsibility,
• Ambition to do something big and out of the ordinary,
• Desire to work on the most prestigious scientific projects,
• Experience with modern/emerging technologies,
• Verbal and written English communication skills,
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities,
• The will  to work in a team environment,
• The will  to work in a young and dynamic team,
• Experience in a mentoring role, exhibiting superior communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to perform successfully under limited supervision, and
• Strong problem solving and decision-making.
