Geopedia is a web-based free atlas that can be edited and extended by its users – members of the general public. Geopedia is a joint project between Umanotera, The Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development and Cosylab, which aim is to inform general public about environmental changes and environmental protection.

First Slovenia interactive atlas contains aerial photos of Slovenia and analysis about nature and environment in Slovenia. It represents causes and effects of environmental changes on local areas. When user enters the application, information about melting of Triglav Glacier can be found, possible sea level rise simulation, environmental analysis, and many more.

Geopedia was released on May 15, on international Climate Change Day.
