Authentication and Security Tools
Authentication and access control mechanisms implemented in Giselle prevent any unauthorized access to the database. All users of the system have to be registered and are categorized (according to
their position, organization etc.); the system supports a hierarchical structure of users, groups (organizations) and user roles. All system functions are also organized in a hierarchy, and access
rights can be set for an individual user, group or organization.
