System Diagnostics and Statistics
Giselle system is usually deployed in environments, where dependability and accessibility of the system is crucial for the client’s business operation. Therefore, a special diagnostics module was
developed, which constantly checks the availability and functionality of all components of the system (database, server cluster, application servers…) and sends a warning to the administrators
(via SMS or e-mail) in case a problem with any of the components occurs.
The checks and diagnostic tests that are to be run on each server or component are configurable through a simple application, accessible only to privileged system administrators (Figure 1).
The mechanism that runs diagnostics and tests, is also used to produce statistical information on the usage and performance of the information system as a whole and individual servers in the server
cluster.

Concurrent users are those, who were logged into the system and submitted at least one request within one minute.
