The team

Cosylab is home to many different types of people, working in our diverse departments, both technical and non-technical.

As an example, Cosylab is home to engineers, physicists, chemists and computer scientists, as well as professionals from various social science fields. We even have one medical doctor! In total, there are more than 200 employees in 7 locations around the world (Slovenia, U.S.A, Switzerland, Sweden, China, Ukraine and Japan). Working for Cosylab therefore means that you are a part of a dynamic, international team!

When we work on the various types of our projects, we use the following technologies: EPICS, LabVIEW, C, C ++, Java, Python, FPGA, WinCC OA, Qt, CSS, Tango, OPC-UA, ZeroMQ, OMG DDS and many others more.

Would you enjoy building new cutting-edge scientific facilities? As an engineer and a software developer you will be working on particle accelerators (CERN, SLAC, ESS, FAIR), telescopes (ALMA, ILT), fusion reactors (ITER) and other projects from the scientific field. At Cosylab, we also have a dedicated team working on space mission and ground processes control software (ESA).

You can also expect to work on challenging and complex projects which need a lot of ambition and brain-power. We can also give you opportunities to relocate and work on-site for shorter or longer periods of time (6 months or more). We know how large scientific labs work and we know how accelerators work – and you can help us become even more successful!

You will be a part of Cosylab’s team of top engineers who are working on the most advanced medical devices for fighting cancer.

We are responsible for all aspects of the product lifecycle. Depending on your background and interests, you can work on system design and architecture, software and hardware engineering, verification and validation procedures or you can help prepare and execute an installation.
