Risk Manager and Quality Assurance Person for Medical Device Software

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Performing risk analysis for the state-of-the-art software for medical devices, developed for treating cancer patients worldwide.
Working closely with development teams to perform risk management activities on software components.
Supporting the quality assurance aspect of the medical device software development and assuring compliance with relevant regulatory and standard requirements.
Preparing software/user documentation and technical files.
Collaborating with our Quality Office: improving existing Cosylab processes and participating in internal audits.

Experience with software engineering, change management and performing risk assessments.
Familiarity with different risk management techniques.
Familiarity with applicable standards, e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304.
Familiarity with quality assurance and medical regulation.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive technical documentation.
Familiarity with complete software development lifecycle.
Previous experience in the medical industry or research field is considered a strong additional asset.
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or other related technical disciplines.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Developed communication skills and an open mind for discussion and team collaboration.

Employment contract for an indefinite period of time with a six-month probationary period.
