Senior Software Project Manager (m/f)

We are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Project Manager for Software projects to join our team inside the Medical Services department. The Medical Services department is an engineering department within Cosylab, specializing in collaborations with companies from the medical domain. Our services are tailored to support and guide the companies through all stages of the device development cycle. This includes project planning, system design, and architecture, quality engineering, software and hardware development, verification, validation, and installation.

Recently, we have been expanding our services from the field of radiation therapy to the general MedTech market. Our focus is on solutions for medical robotics, image-guided applications, diagnostic devices, IoT, and connectivity solutions in modern healthcare.

• Participating in the sales process, understanding the customer’s needs, and defining the project.
• Defining the scope, work breakdown, time plan, and staffing requirements for a project.
• Monitoring and managing the project in order to deliver it on time and within budget.
• Leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and team members.
• Monitoring project metrics/KPIs and regular reporting of project status to Department Head and Project Office.
• Competently communicating with customers and team members daily.
• Creatively solving problems during complex projects using technical and people competencies.
• Understanding and addressing project stakeholders’ issues – from team members to customers.
• Identifying, evaluating, and managing project-related risks.

• Extended work experience as a project manager on software projects with a proven track record of delivering complex (hi-tech) projects on time and within budget.
• A technical/engineering background in software, hardware, or embedded systems.
• Experience with international clients.
• Great interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Developed communication skills and an open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
• Great CRM skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Previous experience managing projects in the MedTech (Medical Technology) industry is considered a strong additional asset.
