Polish synchrotron radiation facility


Solaris is a project of the Polish Synchrotron Consortium (comprising 35 research institutes and universities). It received financing from the European Structural Funds, and is being constructed at this time, with first research planned for 2015. The Jagiellonian University has awarded a contract to Cosylab for the delivery of timing system hardware and control system integration services.

Delivered Services:

Cosylab provided SLAC with two products from the standard microIOC line of products. Additional FFT software development was provided for the analog microIOC. In addition to products, Cosylab provided support for JCA/JNI and VDCT.
